Wash Park Home Tour
This year’s Wash Park Home Tour is Saturday, May 10.

Selling Tickets
It’s time to start selling tickets to this year’s Home Tour and your child will be bringing home ticket packets the week after Spring Break.  Please take a moment to look through the materials in the packet which include a fact sheet on the Tour, flyers to hand out to businesses you frequent, tickets and other sales tools.  A large portion of our ticket sales come from the efforts of Steele students and families and we look forward to that tradition continuing this year.

We will be having a class competition within K/1, 2/3, and 4/5 classes.  The class in each group which sells the most tickets will win Bonnie Brae Ice Cream gift certificates for all the students in those classes!

It is helpful if you can turn in money from sold tickets ASAP rather than waiting until right before the Tour.  This helps us with accounting, staffing, tracking, etc….

And to make this great event happen, we need your help!  We don’t just need help the day of the Tour, but can use volunteers before the Tour (both April and May!) to help distribute marketing pieces and compile materials.  Keep an eye out for a volunteer form in the PTA packet that will come home with your child at the beginning of March. Or sign up now!

And to make volunteering more fun, we have grouped classrooms together in homes so you can volunteer with parents that you know.  The class groupings are:

  • 391 S. Gilpin: Room 006 – Sarah Cjaza, Room 108 – Sara Jenkins, Room 201 – Stephanie Juliana & Room 208 – Natalie Pyle
  • 366 S. Gaylord: Room 004 – Christy Feller, Room 104 – Sydney Eckerly/Johnni Lacy & Room 206 – Anna Cafaro
  • 395 S. Gaylord: Room 001 – Mary Lee Rouse/Kathryn Demchak, Room 203 – Ms. Tiffany, Room 204 – Mandi Aaron
  • 427 S. Gaylord: Room 002 – Rhonda Margulies, Room 102 – Kate Estrada, & Room 207 – Robin Donaldson
  • 558 S. Gaylord: Room 007 – Allison Lantz, Room 008 – Alex Schilperoort, Room 107 – Carissa Travia, Room 202 – Trevor Morris
